My name is Chris and in 2007 I set up my own gardening business in London. I had been helping a friend who ran a part time gardening business, 3 days a week. He frequently had too much work so he would call me in for a few days at a time to help clear his backlog. This taster made me determined to start up on my own and become a full time landscape gardener.

As this would be the first business we had set up we decided to join a franchise called Jim’s Mowing, which offered advice and support for new gardening businesses. Initially this support was brilliant, but as the business grew and as we gained more experience the franchise became less useful, and even hindered our ability to offer a service specifically tailored to the needs of the customer base we had developed. I started the business only offering garden maintenance services, but once people saw our standard of work and professionalism we found ourselves in high demand to offer a wider range of services. We now offer maintenance, landscaping and tree surgery, almost any job in your garden, we can do. Our aim is to keep our customers happy, therefore if there is anything not listed on our services page you would like us to do, please ask.

Since 2007 we have successfully serviced over 300 separate households making over 11,000 individual visits to gardens around East Cheshire. Most customers have been with us from the start. We see this customer loyalty as a great achievement and testament to our high standard of customer service. The cornerstone to our customer service is communication. A majority of our customers are not around when we make our visits. Therefore we have opened as many channels of communication as we can in order to stay in touch with changes, requests, suggestions or whatever else we need to.
